Chris Munar started dancing in 2008 with a DMV-based
crew called Ajnin Precizion. Since then he has danced
with the collegiate competitive team from UMBC,
Major Definition, the crew Tito BoyScouts, known for
their comedy and urban stylized sets, KCX artists,
a division within KODACHROME network, and Culture Shock DC.
In the year 2012, he signed with the Cruz Productions management company and also became sponsored by Fresh From Birth clothing line. In 2013 Chris became the assistant director of Mini Shock DC dance Troupe, a co-founder of an all-male dance crew from the DMV called UpperClassMen, and a member of the More Than Dance street team. He has worked for many studios in the DMV area including C-Unit Studio, Mid-Maryland Performing Arts Center, and American Dance Institute.
He currently works with Dance Dimensions, Studio 180, and Strictly Rhythm. His journeys has taken him to teach and perform at places such as DC, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Texas, Utah, California, and Canada. Throughout these many events, Chris has also been privileged to judge prestigious dance competitions such as Prelude Carolinas, Prelude DMV, and Prelude Championships held in Philadelphia.
Chris hopes to share what he has learned from many great dancers, mentors, and friends.
