Open Call Auditions to take place during the upcoming Workshop Intensive
AUDITIONS for the Professional company and Teen Apprentice company will be held during Monica and Britney's workshops.
AUDITONS for the CMI Kidz company will be held during both of the Kids workshops taught by Monica Polk.
CMI spans our Professional Dance Company, our Apprentices/Pre-Professional Dance Company, and CMI Kidz. We offer a wide range of dance classes, workshops, and performances - from jazz to contemporary, and more. CMI Kidz caters to dancers ages 5-12, CMI Apprentices caters to teens ages 13-17, and CMI Professional company is for experienced dancers ages 18 and up.
Capitol Movement Dance Company members have toured overseas for "Freedom Tours" partnering with Armed Forces Entertainment, performed for the unveiling of the new Ferrari F12berlinetta, appeared throughout the DC area as features and guests of dance productions, and taught a multitude of classes to all ages, levels, and socioeconomic ranges. CMI produces its own show 2-3 times a year in which all companies perform.
