Adam was born in Nairobi, Kenya. He discovered dance at age 26, when his sister asked him to take her friend to a dance class. Before this he was a systems analyst and bookeeper in Georgetown. After watching people at that studio jump, kick, turn, run, and hit the rhythms, he was hooked. Now, Adam is a respected teacher and choreographer, having traveled the world setting pieces and teaching classes. He is also the Artistic Director for the Commonality Dance Company (C. DANCE Co.) and a resident instructor for the Edge Performing Arts, both based in Los Angeles, CA.
Adam has appeared in numerous productions and marketing campaigns including Pepsi National commercials, Shell Oil National print, the hit TV show 3rd Rock From the Sun, Fame LA, and the Power Rangers. He was also a dancer for Prince and Monica’s music videos. His choreography has taken stage world wide, with works performed in Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, and Switzerland, and in 2009, Adam set a duet for Australia’s So You Think You Can Dance in Sydney. Adam loves the art and finds it important to make connections all over through dance, as he believes we can all learn to communicate through it.
