Devon Ramone Ellis
Devon Ramone Ellis began his dance training at The Orange School of Performing Arts in Orange, VA under the direction of Ricardo Porter and Heather Powell at the age of 8. There he studied and competed for 9 years Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Hip-Hop with teachers such as Matt Steffanina (The Amazing Race) and Voltaire Wade-Greene (Hamilton). At the age of 17 for one year he trained at Studio Bleu Dance Center in Ashburn, VA studying Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Lyrical with teachers such as Troy D. Brown (Art of Technique) and choreographers such as Ade Obayomi (SYTYCD). In the summer of ’08 he trained at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater summer program. He recently finished a six month contract with Royal Caribbean on their ‘Majesty of the Seas’ ship, and danced in Keke Palmer’s “Panda/Controlla” dance concept video under direction by Rosero McCoy, Eric McCoy and Michelle Soulchild of ‘RoseroInc©’. He teaches and choreographs for The Orange School of Performing Arts in Orange, VA and Polaris Dance Institute in Stafford, VA.
