Laura Edwards has done it all. From the movie Step Up to America’s Best Dance Crew, and most recently, Britney Spears’ Circus Tour, Edwards isn’t stopping anytime soon. Laura began dancing at the age of 2 in Waldorf, MD and continued dancing competitively in the Washington Metropolitan area until she graduated from high school. She also choreographed and taught at her studio since the age of 14. One year after finishing high school, she got her first professional dance job for a Lil’ Mo music video. She has continued to be successful in the dance industry as she has appeared in the movies Step Up, Hairspray, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and Step Up 2: The Streets. Pushing her even further into the spotlight, Laura danced with the all-female group, Fysh n Chicks, during the first season of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. She teaches classes all over the world and looks forward to her next big adventure.
