Originally from southern California, Tiffanie earned her MFA in Dance and Choreography from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance at Chapman University. Tiffanie recently joined dance faculty at Shenandoah University as Assistant Professor as specialist in the area contemporary & commercial jazz dance. She has danced professionally for Sean Greene of Gallimaufry & Greene, and for Mike Esperanza, Artistic Director and Choreographer of BARE Dance Company. She has also performed in works created by Benoit-Swan Pouffer (Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet) and the highly acclaimed post-modern choreographer Lucinda Childs. She currently dances and acts as Assistant Director with Christopher K. Morgan & Artists (CKM&A, directed by Christopher Morgan), with whom she has performed at the Millennium Stage at Kennedy Center and Sidney Harman Hall in Washington, DC. This will be her 4th season with the company. From CKM&A’s most recent performance, in Mr. Morgan’s work Selling Out, Tiffanie was described as a “very talented dancer” (isitmoderndance.wordpress.com), who was “absolutely ripping the solo to shreds” (criticaldance.org). She has conducted CKM&A’s annual winter and summer intensives at the American Dance Institute in Rockville, MD as well as residencies at DeSales University and Muhlenburg University, with Mr. Morgan. She has also traveled with the company to France to conduct an intensive at the Ècole Superieure de Danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower. Tiffanie has been a dance educator for the past 10 years traveling nationally and internationally, having been welcomed as a guest artist in California, Hawaii, Missouri, and Taiwan.
